TK/Kari, school flirt
Someone had given TK the stupidest idea one morning that if he swayed his hips and winked at the girls all the way down the hall he'd get Kari's more-than-platonic attention, when all it had resulted in was her bursting out laughing and tugging him close, whispering into his ear, "I'd say yes if you asked."

Mimi/Sora, lip gloss
She should've known something funny was up the second Sora had asked, in the middle of the night, to borrow her lip gloss (when did Sora ever wear lip gloss) but then she'd had the breath literally stolen out of her and all that was left to think about was a pair of giggles and matching, sparkling pink smiles in the dark.

Kurt + Rachel, making friends
"If I weren't with Finn and if you weren't so utterly appalled by the thought of getting intimate with a female," Rachel began once she and Kurt were alone in the choir room, "I have to admit that with your undeniable talent and my limitless star quality, combined with traumatized youths that only contributed positively to our ability to understand the difficulties of raising a child in extraordinary circumstances... our baby would be flawless."

Axel + Roxas, hairdo
Axel was used to Roxas' strangely endearing inane questions by now ("What's ice cream?" "What's love?" "What's mass converted to energy multiplied by the speed of light squared equal to?") and was fully prepared to have one thrown at him when he walked in for their mission that morning sans hairgel and au naturale, but all it took was one look at the bulging flaming 'fro for Roxas to forget all questions and erupt into laughter instead.

Kiba/Hinata, finding Shino
He had no idea how it was even possible for one goddamn ninja in sunglasses and a bulky coat to successfully hide from his nose and her eyes, but with Hinata's arms around his waist--chest pressed flush-up against his back--he decided he didn't really care, and told Akamaru to take the scenic route instead.

Lee + Tenten, conspiring against Neji
"I'm being perfectly honest, Neji, this cut accents your cheekbones far better than that mop ever did," Tenten said in earnest, just as Lee and Gai burst into the room and tackled him, sobbing uncontrollably at the beauty of it all. She stayed around just long enough to smile brightly at Neji's Glare Of A Thousand Daggers under his neat, perfectly straight fringe, before dropping her scissors and booking it out of there.

Ash/Silver, trust
"I'm not him and you shouldn't believe you can trust me," Silver ground out forcefully, and suddenly all Ash could do to show him that yes, he could, and yes, he did, was grab him by the hair and kiss him solidly on the mouth.

Dawn/Ash, similarities
Sometimes she'd look into the mirror, put on a great big smile and tell herself there was no need to worry--and sometimes, her reflection would change into that of a bright-eyed boy with a cap and a Pikachu, shouting at her from the ship across the water about the same thing.

Kris/Silver, ever-after
She thought she recognized that look Silver had for Kotone (and that was okay--she was beautiful and strong and kindhearted and everything a guy like him needed), but a second later Kotone and Hibiki had left and it was just the two of them, and when Silver turned around and looked at Kris, she realized it had always been her in the end.

Sweat-soaked and utterly spent, he collapsed against the pillows with a heavy breath but gave no protest when it was swallowed by a pair of lips descending once more on his own, accompanied by the brush of a feather against his cheek (he took his hat off, but the fedora always stayed right where it was) and the sound of... a door opening (oh).

Green/May, sudden shift in perspective
The real reason she'd stopped stripping so openly in front of him was because it was, well, winter and it was freezing out there, but she merely rested her chin on a gloved palm and smiled up at him, answering with, "Now you've got to earn it."

Gold + Silver, battling with each other
"B-six!" announced Gold, after the single longest moment of deliberation ever, and it was with an obscene, fire-of-a-million-Moltres kind of rage that Silver marked the peg on his board, sunk his last battleship... and removed his boxers, much to Gold's very irritatingly smug satisfaction.
Like hell was Silver ever agreeing to "a friendly, manly game of BattleStrip" again.

Steven + May, groceries
As he was rarely home these days to begin with, it was always a little depressing to come back from a trip and realize that the fridge was empty and the cupboards were bare--but then, what never failed to bring a smile to his face was when there'd be a timely knock at the front door and that familiar spunky girl in a bandana would be there on his doorstep, toting a large paper bag with dinner for two.

Fantina + May, French fries (unofficial sequel to this drabble byneutralize)
Ever since that désastre that had been her "date" with the Gym Leader of Vermilion City, Fantina was hoping a friendly outing with May (a polite and sensible girl by all appearances) would do something to relieve the residual trauma--but all she could do was watch helplessly as the young girl plowed through her plate of fries at a record speed... before considerately offering Fantina the last one.
(At least May had the decency to chew and swallow before she asked.)

Green/Red, 69
Green stared incredulously at the Bellsprout in his living room. Or, more accurately, the Bellsprout in his living room on the couch watching television.
"Red," he said, very calmly, "why is there a Bellsprout."
Red peered over his shoulder at the offending Pokémon, then glanced at Green. "You said you wanted 'sixty-nine' last night. According to the Pokédex--"
That was all Green needed to hear before he pressed a hand to his face and left the room without another word, the door shutting behind him with a clear, resounding thud.
"Bell?" asked Bellsprout quizzically, and Red could only shrug in response, sitting down on the couch next to it and cracking open his soda.

Aaron/May, naptime & sunglasses
She found him dozing off on top of a log, basked in the warm afternoon sun peeking in through the high windows, his rosy sunglasses slipping off his nose; she smiled and leaned down to press a light kiss to his forehead, before settling down in the grass beside him--her battle could wait.

Ash + Pikachu, sunshine
Yellow was the colour of hope for Ash in a lot of ways, from the roaring flames dominating the stadium to the striking sun bearing down on them on a perfectly clear day, but the glint of the sunshine against charged yellow fur on the field gave him the most hope of all.

It was time to say goodbye once more, with a firm handshake accompanied by warm smiles--then Gary tugged him in close, murmured in his ear, "See you again soon," and was off before Ash could blink, a hand raised lazily in farewell as he walked away.

Morty/Falkner, heartbeat
It was a difficult task to get any kind of true reaction from the other Gym Leader when it didn't involve one particular legendary bird, so Falkner had to satisfy himself with convincing Morty to fly with him, to feel their heartbeats racing both together and against each other as they plunged back down to earth in a flurry of feathers and stolen kisses.

"So this is what walking in on your parents would feel like," Ethan said bleakly, feet locking him in place against his will as Falkner hastily covered himself with every blanket and pillow available to him and Morty fell to the floor with a pained groan.
