Notes: Another kh_drabble failure at the prompt "Smile". It fit the length limits, it's just... too vague to really count as KH unless you squint lmfao. ;; I liked the tone too much to make it more relevant, so I left it as is and just decided to post it here as an original instead.

Bet you anything I can make you smile every day for a week, he'd said simply.

Monday, he brings you a bright-eyed dalmation with a red collar.

Tuesday, he offers to make dinner; two big cupcakes on a plastic plate.

Wednesday, he says you're with him in 49 of the 50 adventures he's going to experience before he dies.

Thursday, you find him asleep on the sand beneath the late afternoon sun.

Friday, you lend him a spare notebook and he says thank you.

Saturday, you find a notebook filled with adventures outside your bedroom door.

Sunday, he says he'll win.

Guess he does.
